How to Prepare
The DFC Program will has published the FOA. You will find it at www.samhsa.gov, www.samhsa.gov, www.grants.gov, and https://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/Drug-Free-Communities-Support-Program. Once posted, interested coalitions should read the FOA to determine if they are statutorily eligible to apply for funding. These requirements are listed in the FOA and at https://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/information-for-potential-applicants. After this determination is made, coalitions should come prepared to the New Applicant Workshop with questions related to the completion of the FOA. It is imperative that participants have read and re-read the FOA prior to attending the New Applicant Workshop.
