Social media marketing is a critical strategy in today’s prevention landscape, yet many prevention professionals don’t effectively capitalize on the platforms available to disseminate their messages. This workshop covers all the important aspects of social media marketing – social media platforms, strategies, content development, ROI, best practices and more. Within this interactive workshop, we will show you how to use social media tools to generate content, assess the landscape, respond proactively, develop networks, and gain followers and exposure to keep your organization and/or coalition’s interests at the forefront of the agenda.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to: 

1. Identify marketing strategies to maximize results
2. Learn content optimization tips
3. Practice social media best practices
