This session will focus on the importance of developing a data collection and data management plan (DMP) to help your coalition understand local outcomes. We will cover the range of data topics including surveying youth, storing data safely and securely, and working with local evaluators. Collecting data relies on good relationships, most typically with schools. During events such as COVID-19, coalitions need to balance maintaining positive relationships with understanding local impacts. While Drug-Free Communities grant recipients are a primary target audience, the information shared will be relevant to any community coalition.
