Fearless Fundraising

Wednesday, July 17th
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Room:
Texas 4-6
Description:

A coalition needs resources in order to achieve its mission. Sustainability beyond grant funding can be a daunting concept. The key to establishing sustainable funding is to have a clear strategy to engage community partners and funders in achieving your mission. This dynamic session will incorporate stories, suggestions and tools for taking your coalition’s fundraising to a whole new level. The session will also include action planning – to identify how to apply effective fundraising principles to the coalition’s sustainability efforts.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Explore essential elements of a successful fundraising initiative
2. Learn how to build relationships – the art of “friend-raising”
3. Discuss strategies to engage coalition members as partners in fundraising
4. Develop action steps to apply in your coalition to strengthen your fundraising efforts
