En esta sesión, se presentarán los casos de tres Coaliciones Comunitarias Antidrogas del Perú, que tienen más de 8 años de funcionamiento exitoso. Se presentarán las diferentes acciones que realizan para sostener el trabajo de sus coaliciones, las cuales abarcan desde la búsqueda de la sostenibilidad económica hasta la sostenibilidad social a través del reconocimiento por medio de las organizaciones sociales e instituciones públicas a nivel comunitario y distrital. Adicionalmente, se identificarán los elementos de éxitos en estas tres coaliciones, que les han ayudado a lograr su sostenibilidad con el fin de enfatizarse y fortalecerse en su proceso de desarrollo de capacidades.

In this Spanish-language session, Peruvian community coalition development experts will present the case of three Peruvian Community Anti-Drug Coalitions, each of which has been active for 8 over years. They will discuss how these coalitions sustain themselves, not only financially but socially, highlighting the degree to which these coalitions have been recognized at the community and district levels by various social organizations and public institutions. They will also identify the common elements among these three coalitions which have strengthened their capacity and helped them achieve sustainability.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to: 

A final de la sesión de capacitación, los participantes podrán:
1. Desarrollar acciones concretas de gestión de recursos para las actividades del Plan de Trabajo de la Coalición.
2. Desarrollar acciones concretas de reconocimiento y posicionamiento social de la Coalición en el contexto social y político, comunal y distrital.
3. Identificar los elementos de sus Coaliciones que les permiten una mayor posibilidad de sostenibilidad.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:
1. Develop concrete steps / actions to take in order to order to accomplish the activities outlined in the coalition work plan.
2. Develop concrete steps / actions to take in order to position the coalition in such a way that it is recognized by organizations and institutions at the community and district levels.
3. Identify the different elements or characteristics of a coalition that improve sustainability.
