Many coalitions are often so invested and involved in doing their critical prevention work<\/strong> they forget how important it is to talk <\/strong>about their successes. For coalition sustainability, it is crucial for coalitions to tell the story of how their coalition\u2019s strategies demonstrate achievements in community-level outcomes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year CADCA\u2019s Got Outcomes! Coalition of Excellence Awards provides coalitions with the opportunity to create a valuable tool for coalition sustainability. CADCA is asking applicants to develop a brief PowerPoint presentation educating community members and key stakeholders on their coalition\u2019s contributions to community-level substance abuse outcomes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The GOT OUTCOMES! PowerPoint allows applicants to effectively communicate their coalition\u2019s work and success in a succinct manner to potential funders and partners.\u00a0 This product will add to a coalition\u2019s toolbox by ensuring applicants will have a method for spreading the word about their efforts and impacts. Additionally, the coalition story will build capacity among coalition and community members by having a platform for sharing and celebrating coalition successes of the past, present, and future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Phase I application (of the two-phase process) is due to CADCA by 5PM EDT on Monday, June 15, 2015. In early July, applicants will be notified about whether or not they have been selected to move to Phase II of the application process where they will be asked to share additional information.
