CADCA\u2019s National Coalition Institute is pleased to announce the beginning of a new no-cost, bi-monthly webinar series entitled \u201cConversations: Putting Research Into Action.\u201d<\/p>\n

For years, we have provided Investigaci\u00f3n en acci\u00f3n<\/em> articles in which we bridged the gap between scholarly publications and practical application for substance abuse prevention coalitions. Beginning this month, our Investigaci\u00f3n en acci\u00f3n<\/em> series will take on a new format, giving coalitions around the country the opportunity to listen in and participate as CADCA\u2019s Evaluation and Research team hosts live conversations with scholars from around the world.<\/p>\n

We invite you to join us for our inaugural webinar on Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 5:30\u2013 6:30 p.m. EST with Australian professor Dr. Sandra C. Jones.<\/p>\n

Dr. Jones and her colleagues recently published an article \u201c\u2018I think other parents might\u2026 Using a projective technique to explore parental supply of alcohol.\u201d<\/p>\n

Come join us in a real time conversation hosted by Andrea de la Flor and Robert Busch of CADCA\u2019s Evaluation and Research team to hear about the key findings and implications of this new research on underage drinking.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are absolutely thrilled to engage in this new process that will bring researchers and coalitions closer together and bridge not only research to practice, but also a connection between the two worlds. Launching our first webinar in collaboration with Dr. Jones and her colleagues in Australia is very exciting,\u201d de la Flor said.<\/p>\n
