(CADCA) Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America and Addiction Policy Forum (APF) will enter a partnership to disseminate critical materials and resources\u00a0 related to prevention, addiction and substance misuse.<\/p>\n
\u201cCADCA fully supports the continuum of care\u2014 prevention, education, treatment, recovery, and we firmly believe that prevention is needed now more than ever.\u00a0 Our coalition model produces community change because it engages members from all sectors, addresses conditions that are unique to the community and mobilizes experts to induce change.\u00a0 We are excited to partner with Addiction Policy Forum and will utilize the existing national infrastructure built at CADCA to produce sustainable positive outcomes,\u201d shared General Arthur T. APF will develop a multimedia series on the science of addiction that will include resources such as videos, flyers and toolkits.\u00a0 CADCA in turn will disseminate these materials to their coalitions and networks. With more than 5,000 community coalitions throughout the country and a track record of helping create drug-free communities globally, CADCA is uniquely positioned to disseminate evidence-based prevention resources to scope and scale nationally.<\/p>\n
CADCA\u2019s coalition model brings together critical community sectors to develop and implement evidence- based strategies to achieve population level reductions in substance use rates.<\/p>\n
