This interactive panel discussion will provide insights into lessons learned from national, state, local, and youth perspectives to engage youth in preventing prescription drug misuse. Come to this session to learn strategies to engage youth in your prevention efforts and take home ideas that you can implement in your community. The panel will also identify educational resources and information, as well as partnerships and collaborations that you can access in your community to prevent the misuse of prescription drugs among youth and young adults.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to learn how to engage youth and young adults in prescription drug misuse prevention efforts, to learn about youth-focused and youth-led prevention strategies and to identify resources and partnerships/collaborations to prevent prescription drug misuse.
