Room:
Texas 4-6
Description:

Engaging sectors and hard to reach stakeholders in the decision-making processes is vital to the success of a coalition. It is key that stakeholders understand that engaging them in the process helps to build mutual trust, therefore increases the transparency, interest and acceptance of policy decisions. This workshop will help you understand the key elements to engaging hard to reach stakeholders and how to include them in the problem-solving and decision-making process.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Discuss the key elements to engaging coalition sectors and hard to reach stakeholders
2. Engage community sectors and hard to reach populations in the coalition’s problem solving and decision making process
3. Create a range of opportunities for coalition involvement for hard to community sectors and hard to reach stakeholders.
