Don't Just Say No, Do More

Tuesday, February 4, 2020
11:00 AM
12:15 PM
Chesapeake 10-12

What is the problem and how do we get to the root cause? How do we effectively engage youth so that they share their substance abuse experiences with others? By evaluating what we learned from listening sessions and youth engagement activities, we can begin to strategize ways to work with the next generation of youth. During this session, you'll learn what do we do, who we serve, how do operate and what we get out of doing this work.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1) Keep youth engaged in their community and peer's work.

2) Activate their creativity, allowing them to take the lead on projects.

3) Encourage youth to just not to say no to drugs, but to do more as change agents.
