Coalitions and Collective Impact – We are on it!

2:30 PM
3:45 PM

Coalitions DO have Collective Impact - They just don’t know it! During this session, we will identify the key elements of Collective Impact – and how they inform the work of coalitions implementing the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) . Specifically, we will walk through CADCA’s coalition planning process to demonstrate how elements of Collective Impact can improve how coalitions engage community partners to identify a common agenda, develop their logic model and strategic and action plans and implement mutually reinforcing prevention strategies. Examples and worksheets will be provided during the session.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1) Identify the core elements of Collective Impact and how they relate to the SPF

2) Describe how coalitions implement Collective Impact in their communities

3) Enhance the work of their coalition to include lessons learned from Collective Impact
