Building Leadership through Consensus

Monday, July 15th
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Room:
San Antonio 4-6
Description:

A key part to sustainability is "buy in". When your partners and members know their voice is part of the big picture they become personally invested in the work. Building participatory facilitation skills can shift leadership from staff to coalition and community members and can be a key component to engaging partnerships by placing value on each person at the table. In this session, you will participate in a interactive workshop that is designed to show how people from different sectors and perspectives can build consensus and collectively work on a shared vision.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Find value in engagement process and how it leads to members investing in the outcome.
2.Understand how cross sector collaboration can be done by just asking the right questions.

All presentations that have been made available to CADCA have been posted at this time.

Sessions without presentations were not made available to CADCA to share.
