This session will explore creative ways and ideas on engaging, enlightening and empowering coalitions on how to effectively include the Faith Based Sector in urban planning and outreach, via following the Strategic Prevention Framework process. These days coalitions are working extremely hard to recruit and retention the ongoing involvement and commitment of the faith Based Communities. This session will provide participants with an opportunity via personal interaction and presentation to develop skills and strategies for engaging and recruiting the involvement of Faith Leaders from Urban Communities. Moreover, this session is designed to share what drugs and substances are trending in Urban Communities on the West Side of the City of Chicago. Participants will leave this session with a greater awareness and tools for engaging and recruiting Faith Based Leaders and their congregations.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to: 

1. Participants will understand how to build a stronger relationships with the Faith Based Community
2. Participants will develop tools to Engage and Empower their Faith based sector. What's Trending in the Urban Community.
