Barb Giniger Cooper brings over 20 years of social marketing and health communications expertise to CADCA. She has owned and operated a successful, consulting practice—Cooper Communications—for the past 20 years, where her passion is to assess challenges, apply strategies and achieve solutions. Ms. Cooper provides writing, marketing and website development services to the Federal government, local government agencies and non-profits.  Her niche includes substance abuse prevention, medicine safety and workforce development.

For CADCA, Barb has written over a dozen Strategizers and toolkits that are used by over 5000 coalitions across the U.S. She also created and co-coordinated Camera, Lights Action!, a workshop featured during the 2013 CADCA Summer Institute. The course received excellent ratings from participants for its innovation, active engagement and hands-on approaches.
