Advocacy: What that Really Means and How to Do It

Thursday, July 18th
1:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Room:
Grapevine 4-6
Description:

How do you advocate? Is there an invisible line? How does someone build relationships with politicians? We will discuss how to build relationships with your legislators and their staff, how to advocate for your coalitions needs, how to read policy and pull out the important information and most importantly how to translate that to your coalition so that they can advocate for change.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Build Relationships
2. Read and understand some policy
3. Be able to take it back to their coalition.

All presentations that have been made available to CADCA have been posted at this time.

Sessions without presentations were not made available to CADCA to share.

As a reminder, the password to access the presentations has emailed to participants and is also available on your Program Cover.
