Description

Policy change is important to making lasting community level changes in your community, but policy change can be overwhelming. Where do you start? How do we make a plan of action? Who do we involve? This training will take you through different policy change starting points in your community from a minor procedural change to a local ordinance. Work with your colleagues to learn and uncover options for action in your community.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to utilize their local conditions to uncover local level policy changes, develop a capacity building plan for policy change, and initiate effective local level policy change
