2020 GOT Outcomes! Best Practices for Evaluation

04/02/2021
2:30 PM
3:45 PM

Description

GOT Outcomes! was created in 2004 as a way to both reward coalitions for their evaluation work and to help coalitions nationwide learn from these best practices. It aligns closely to the training provided to coalitions through the National Coalition Academy (NCA). Applicants chose from three separate categories based on the substance abuse-related outcomes achieved and began a two-phase application process requiring them to clearly communicate their story and contribution to community-level outcomes. The 2020 winners are Dedham Organization for Substance Awareness, Lindenhurst Community Care Coalition, Inc. and Link Together Coalition. These GOT Outcomes! winners will speak to their successful evaluation work and share steps that brought them to present at this year’s National Leadership Forum.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1) Identify some of the key processes, strategies and characteristics of these coalitions that they believe contributed most significantly to their success

2) Utilize specific tips, tools and/or lessons learned to inform and improve their own coalition work

3) Understand more about CADCA's GOT Outcomes! Award application process
