CADCA needs your help to keep drug prevention on the Administration's radar screen. CADCA has posted a petition to raise the profile of effective drug prevention on the White House's "We the People" web site. If we can get 25,000 people to sign onto our petition by November 4th, the Administration has committed that it will discuss the issue. There are currently a number of petitions on this web site in favor of marijuana legalization that have already gotten over 80,000 signatures. Please take a minute now to let your voice be heard SO THAT WE CAN PROVE TO THE WHITE HOUSE THAT DRUG PREVENTION MATTERS TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.
ACTION STEPS TO BE TAKEN
Viewing and signing on to the petition is easy, and takes less than one minute – all you have to do is:
1. Go to: http://wh.gov/2Yh
2. Create a username and password, if you don't have one already.
3. After you have created an account, return to the petition link and hit refresh.
4. Click ‘Sign Petition’ button.
Getting 100 people to sign on is easy:
• Ask your coalition members and volunteers to sign on
• Get your local youth advocates involved
• Post on your Facebook and Twitter accounts
• Post link and instructions on the homepage of your coalition’s website
Thank you in advance for taking the time to sign this petition, and for disseminating this broadly to your networks so that we can achieve a minimum of 25,000 signatures! If we all make this a priority, we can secure many more than the 25,000 signatures.
If you have any questions about the petition, please contact Lindsay Houff at lhouff@cadca.org.
