On April 17, the Office of National Drug Control Policy released its 2012 National Drug Control Strategy, which serves as the Nation's blueprint for reducing drug use and its consequences. The Strategy provides a review of the progress made over the past three years and looks ahead to the federal government’s continuing efforts to reform, rebalance, and renew national drug control policy. The Strategy mentions a number of programs, including the Drug Free Communities program as well as CADCA’s VetCorps initiative.
