The Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools will hold a webinar next week to discuss grant opportunities that will be available in 2010. The webinar will take place on Tues., Feb. 2nd, from 2 to 3 p.m., EST.
Among the grants that will be discussed are three drug and alcohol prevention grants. They include: Building State Capacity for Preventing Youth Substance Use and Violence; Grant Competition to Reduce Alcohol Abuse; and Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Models on College Campuses.
The webinar will include a power point presentation with conferencing for audio. Each OSDFS Discretionary Grant Program Manager will provide a fact sheet about their program and information about how to apply for each grant. Participation will be limited to 500 callers. There is no pre-registration for this event.
