Stay Tuned for Calls to Action about FY 2012 President's Budget Request

As many of you are aware, the government is operating under a Continuing Resolution for Fiscal Year 2011, which expires on March 4th. Congress is currently working to pass a new Continuing Resolution (CR) before the March 4th deadline. In the meantime, President Obama released his Fiscal Year 2012 Budget Request on February 14th.

CADCA is carefully pouring over the President’s budget request and working with other national substance abuse organizations to formulate a unified message. CADCA will disseminate specific alerts and calls to action to the field in the coming weeks. CADCA will also keep coalitions posted and mobilize everyone to act at the appropriate time when the House releases its language for the CR (which is expected at the end of this week).
