Spring into the Annual Survey of Coalitions

Add your voice to the number one source of information for the coalition field - CADCA’s Annual Survey of Coalitions. The 2011/2012 CADCA Annual Survey of Coalitions is open for coalitions to participate.

Why should your coalition participate in the Annual Survey?

• Improve coalition dialogue – When you complete the Survey, you can immediately download a summary report of your information. The report outlines the accomplishments of your coalition’s work for the last 12 months, including sectors engaged, resources generated, and strategies implemented and planning products developed. These summaries provide valuable information to discuss at a coalition meeting or share with community stakeholders.

• Become eligible to participate in innovative projects – CADCA and other partnering organizations use the Survey to select coalitions for involvement in various Community-Researcher Partnership projects. These ground-breaking projects forge strong connections and collaborations between coalitions and the scientific community.

• Gain access to valuable networking information - By completing* the Survey, your coalition can utilize the Annual Survey Reports to connect with other coalitions in your state, allowing you to share information and learn from each other. Coalitions that are CADCA members have an even greater advantage with the ability to network with coalitions throughout the entire country.

• Bring a national focus into the local work of coalitions - CADCA uses the Annual Survey data to share valuable information with Congress, advocating for the continuation of funding appropriations to support community anti-drug coalitions and promoting coalitions as vehicles for comprehensive community change!

CADCA’s Annual Survey is for ALL coalitions fighting alcohol, tobacco and/or drug use in their communities – you do not have to be a member of CADCA to participate. Participation in CADCA’s Annual Survey of Coalitions is free of charge and completely VOLUNTARY. Additionally, the Annual Survey occurs EVERY YEAR, allowing your coalition to update its information for the current year if you have participated in the past. If your coalition has never participated in the Annual Survey, this is your opportunity to join a nation-wide effort. The Annual Survey is the ONLY survey of coalitions in existence in this country. Your yearly participation increases our collective understanding of coalitions, what makes them effective and how they change systems and environments to contribute to reductions in population-level substance abuse outcomes.

Complete the Annual Survey by Feb. 24 and your coalition is eligible to win:
