Learn how to incorporate Above the Influence youth activities into your existing prevention efforts by taking the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign's new monthly webinar "Implementing Above the Influence (ATI) in Your Local Community."
The media campaign has revamped their youth campaign to provide a greater emphasis on supporting communities across the country working on youth prevention issues, as part of the Office of National Drug new strategy to engage teens at the community level. The media campaign conducted pilot testing in three communities as part of the new initiative aimed at getting teens to share their insights about the positive and negative influences they see around them. The campaign used the information gathered from the pilot markets to create an Above the Influence toolkit of activities that includes user-friendly resources to help community groups and youth leaders facilitate discussions with teens about influences and ways to stay "above it."
You can register for a webinar from 1:30-2:30 p.m. EST Jan.13 or 1:30-2:30 p.m. EST Jan. 20 that will discuss the toolkit, walk through best practices, and provide you an opportunity to ask questions during this discussion.
