Phamatech, Inc. one of the leading providers of rapid 1-step diagnostic devices for the detection of fertility, drugs of abuse, and infectious diseases, received certification by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for its newest division: Forensic Toxicology Laboratory Services. Phamatech, Inc. is a long-time supporter of CADCA and of the community coalition movement.
“We have been successful in growing our company by providing products and services that are accurate, cost effective and built to the highest standards of quality,” said Phamatech President and CEO Tuan Pham, Ph.D. “The addition of a SAMHSA certified forensic laboratory will allow us to reach different segments of the drugs-of-abuse test markets and will be a critical part of our growth strategy over the next few years.”
CADCA will recognize Phmatech’s Dr. Tuan Pham with the Champion for a Drug-Free Kids Award at its annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner on Sept. 25, 2007 in Washington, D.C. Phamatech, Inc. a global provider of simple easy-to-use one-step screening diagnostic products, has been a major supporter of CADCA since 2003. Dr. Pham supports coalitions in their training as an annual sponsor of CADCA’s National Leadership Forum and Mid-Year Training Institute. “Phamatech supports CADCA’s mission and understand coalitions. I look forward to recognizing Dr. Pham for the time, energy and resources he has committed to help kids stay drug-free,” remarked General Arthur T. Dean, CADCA’s Chairman and CEO.
With the support of Phamatech, Inc., CADCA developed Coalitions and Drug Testing: At-Home, In-School, At-Work, the 50th edition in CADCA’s Strategizer series. This publication helps coalitions gain a better understanding of how drug testing fits into the prevention/intervention picture, featuring examples of testing in action and steps that coalitions can take to integrate drug testing into their community prevention strategy.
