The ONDCP National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign is seeking donations of fully-produced advertising executions from organizations that have developed a methamphetamine prevention campaign on either a national or local level.
While the core of the Media Campaign remains focused on preventing teen drug use, Congress has directed that a portion of our 2007 efforts target methamphetamine abuse by young adults. The Media Campaign is committed to implementing this directive as quickly and cost-efficiently as possible by engaging the leading civic, volunteer, education, and public heath organizations who have experience and successes addressing meth use.
Organizations that wish to donate their PSAs/advertisements for the campaign are asked to complete an application and provide copies of their PSA/ad materials. The Campaign welcomes TV, radio, print and/or out-of-home creative. The Campaign plans to use this material as part of a paid media initiative in select in-state markets, supplemented by non-advertising (or “earned media”) initiatives.
All completed applications and accompanying materials must be received by April 16, 2007. For information about eligibility, technical requirements and application materials, go to www.mediacampaign.org/meth_solicitation.
