How to Win Free CADCA Forum Registration – Complete CADCA’s Annual Survey!

Coalitions that complete the 2009 CADCA Annual Survey of Coalitions are eligible to win a free registration to attend the CADCA's 20th Annual National Leadership Forum, held February 8-11, 2010. The Forum is the nation's largest training for substance abuse prevention, treatment professionals and researchers. This year's theme focuses on what community coalitions do best—mobilize communities and implement grassroots prevention strategies.

CADCA is offering TWO free Forum registrations for coalitions that complete its Annual Survey by December 28, 2009. The Annual Survey is the ONLY survey of coalitions in existence in this country. This national coalition database offers coalitions, states, federal partners, and researchers comprehensive, state-of-the-art information about the effectiveness of anti-drug coalitions. CADCA’s Annual Survey is for ALL coalitions fighting alcohol, tobacco and/or drug use in their communities – you do not have to be a member of CADCA to participate. Participation in CADCA’s Annual Survey of Coalitions is free of charge and completely VOLUNTARY. Additionally, the Annual Survey occurs EVERY YEAR - so if your coalition has participated in the past, this is the time to update your information for the current year. If your coalition has never participated in the Annual Survey, this is your opportunity to join a nation-wide effort. This is the ONLY survey of coalitions in existence in this country. Your yearly participation increases our collective understanding of coalitions, what makes them effective and how they change systems and environments to contribute to reductions in population-level substance abuse outcomes.
