Coalition resources: Drug-Free Communities Support Program, Funding, Public Policy
As you are already aware, the President recommended cutting funding for the Drug Free Communities (DFC) program by $9.5 million, to $85.5 million in his FY 2011 Budget Request. Thanks to all of you who have already responded to CADCA's legislative alert. For those of you who have not yet responded to CADCA's alert, we urgently need your help to ensure this proposed cut does not become a reality. It is critical for you to ACT NOW.
Given that Congress has the power to restore this cut, it is imperative that your members of Congress hear from you immediately so that the maximum number of legislators sign on (to currently circulating letters) in support of fully funding this program at last year’s appropriated level. Take action now.
