CADCA was able to issue more than 400 2010 Leadership Forum refunds for registrants who were unable to attend the event during the historic blizzard. Our efforts were successful due to the detailed background information provided by registrants. Despite CADCA's publicized efforts to submit claims to our insurance company, some coalitions didn't make the deadline and were unable to submit a refund request. So, CADCA asked the insurance agency to reopen the claim and we were successful. The new deadline to submit your refund request is Aug. 31, 2010.
They came, they saw, they conquered! That’s what nearly 1300 prevention leaders did last week at CADCA’s 2010 Mid-Year Training Institute in Phoenix, Ariz. Prevention leaders, representing community coalitions from across the country, heard from key federal officials and expert speakers, and learned new strategies and ideas to conquer their local drug abuse problems.
