COMMUNITY PREVENTION DAY
Future by Design: Behavioral Health in Action
Monday, February 7, 2011
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and its Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) will convene its 7th Annual Community Prevention Day in conjunction with CADCA’s National Leadership Forum. Special guests will include the SAMHSA Administrator and SAMHSA's three Center Directors. This all-day event will be held at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention. There is NO COST to attend this event, but REGISTRATION is required.
This annual gathering provides a venue for participants to receive training and technical assistance specific to substance abuse prevention, as well as to network with other grantees and partners. Participants also have the opportunity to share experiences and information and take part in workshops to develop strategic organizational skills. During lunchtime, regions will sit together to facilitate networking.
