Coalitions Achieving Successful Outcomes!
Each year CADCA presents GOT OUTCOMES! (GO!) Coalition of Excellence Awards to outstanding coalitions who use data-driven, comprehensive, and effective approaches to address local substance abuse issues. This year’s award winners will share with Forum attendees the successful outcomes they’ve achieved in their communities in alcohol, tobacco, or other drug abuse prevention. The presenters will also demonstrate how coalitions can use community assessments, logic models, and evaluation effectively to measure short-term, intermediate, and long-term changes in their communities.
At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to: 1) Learn how the 2017 Coalition of Excellence and Coalition of the Year award winners achieved successful outcomes in their communities 2) Learn how to apply best practices in data collection and measurement in order to conduct a community assessment and evaluate the success of coalition strategies and interventions 3) Learn how to select a comprehensive set of interventions using CADCA’s Seven Strategies to Affect Community Change
