CADCA’s Forum is the nation’s largest meeting for community prevention leaders, treatment professionals and researchers. The Forum will be held in conjunction with SAMHSA/CSAP’s 9th Annual Prevention Day. The theme this year is "Coalitions: Science, Strategy and Solutions” which emphasizes the importance of developing broad-based strategic alliances, implementing proven and promising strategies, and achieving population-level change.

Join us at our 13th annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner as we celebrate the work of thousands of community coalitions across the nation and world that are helping to keep kids safe, healthy and drug-free. Our Annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner honors individuals, businesses and organizations that help raise awareness and support for CADCA’s mission to strengthen anti-drug coalitions. Funds raised through the Drug-Free Kids Campaign help CADCA train and support community coalitions in drug prevention strategies and train youth for leadership opportunities for young people involved in community work.

CADCA’s Mid-Year Training Institute is the only intensive, coalition-specific training opportunity of its kind, providing in-depth courses specifically designed to address a community leader’s biggest concerns and obstacles. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. CADCA’s Mid-Year is not the typical conference. Participants take part in ½ day, 1-day and 2-day courses on everything from how to run a community anti-drug coalition to how to implement environmental strategies. The format of the training allows for small group work, real practice and knowledge application—the kind of adult learning experience that has been shown to be effective.
