"When I think of CADCA, the first words that come to mind are "information" and "linkages." Through CADCA, coalitions receive information, resources and training that are specific and beneficial to the field…CADCA also provides linkages to not only federal partners and political leaders, but also to each other. As our national membership organization, CADCA serves as a source of common communication and advocacy for ALL community anti-drug coalitions, be they large or small, urban or rural, county or neighborhood. As such, they give us a sense of belonging to something that is bigger, something that reminds us that "we're all in this together.”— Randy Miller
Randy Miller is Executive Director of Drug Free Marion County, a non-profit organization in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose mission is to “plan, promote, implement and coordinate community efforts to prevent and reduce the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs among youth and adults.” Miller has served in this capacity since the organization’s creation in 1998. He serves as president of CADCIN, Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of Indiana, a statewide association of drug prevention organizations.
