"There is no better time to be involved in local coalitions than right now. Decisions about programs and budgets are being made daily by federal, state and local entities that will affect cities, towns, schools and families. Influencing these decisions in a collective, positive way is paramount to achieving healthy communities. Effectively and efficiently combating neighborhood problems, such as substance abuse, requires a neighborhood effort. Fortunately, CADCA provides essential information, training and expertise in helping ordinary neighborhood people form into mobilized coalitions that reduce substance abuse and related problems in their area." — Craig PoVey
